Classes In Cainta Have Been Suspended Amid COVID-19 Spread As DOH Raises Alert Level To Code Red
After a resident of Cainta, Rizal has tested positive for COVID-19, Cainta mayor Johnielle Keith “Kit” Nieto declared the suspension of classes in all levels for both public and private schools beginning today until Tuesday, March 10, 2020. The class suspension was made to give the government ample time to distribute face masks, disinfectants, and vitamin C to students as a preventive measure against the novel coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the Department of Health (DOH) has officially raised the COVID-19 alert level to Code Red Sublevel 1 after confirming the local transmission of the virus. Esquiremag.ph explains that Code Red Sublevel 1 means that all hospital staff must report for duty to anticipate further cases and immediately provide medical assistance.
On March 6, two new cases have been confirmed by DOH, bringing the total to five. One is a 48-year-old man who has recently traveled to Japan and the other is a 62-year-old man from Cainta with no travel history.
Deloitte Philippines also reported that an employee working at their BGC office has tested positive for the virus and is now receiving treatment. The Taguig City government has confirmed on March 7 that the Deloitte employee is one of the two new cases mentioned by DOH a day prior.
The 62-year-old patient's wife has also recently been confirmed to be the sixth and latest case in the country.
DOH also released an instructional video on the proper way of washing hands to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

I started college with little to no support coming from my family. I can't blame them tho, life was pretty hard for us to afford college. I had to stand up on my own just to get by. Good thing I have a boyfriend who supports me all the way. But I can't let him shoulder it all, so, I had to accept sidelines just to finance my studies. It was fortunate of me to be blessed with talented hands to do crafts. And now, I'm so proud to say that I'll be graduating next year! So, let me share with you my works that helped me all through out my college journey.

WHO ARE YOU: PRELUDE
Past? Or Present?
