If you're one of the many people who has been hooked to the new Netflix series Bridgerton, then chances are, you've probably hit the 'Follow' button on Rege-Jean Page's Insta account. Rege-Jean plays Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, on the trending Netflix show and like any other dreamy Netflix leading man, he's become quite the popular guy overnight.
Before becoming the talk of the town, however, Rege-Jean has had his humble beginnings in the industry through a cameo on another popular British title: Harry Potter. The Harry Potter film franchise is one of the highest-grossing films of all time and there are ~numerous~ characters that have appeared throughout its eight films, so it's highly likely that you weren't able to spot him at first.
According to Bustle, Rege-Jean made a cameo in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, as a wedding attendee in Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's wedding, towards the part where they get attacked by Death Eaters. He briefly appears behind Emma Watson and is reportedly uncredited for his appearance.

Aside from Harry Potter, Rege-Jean's more known roles include Captain Khora in the 2018 film Mortal Engines (also available on Netflix!) and Chico in the 2020 drama film Sylvie's Love. In 2018, he also starred in another Shonda Rhimes-produced TV series, the legal drama For the People.
In case you're looking for more reasons to admire Rege-Jean, he's also quite the performer. He's one-half of the performing duo TUNYA (the other half being his brother Tose Page) and they produce and write their own music.
