Here's a Korean celeb selfie that will go down in history: BLACKPINK's Jennie and Lee Jung Jae just took a photo together and there's actually a *special* meaning behind it!

Last week, the veteran actor flew to LA and attended the 2021 LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) Art+Film Gala where he met several Hollywood stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Elle Fanning. His Squid Game co-star Jung Ho Yeon was also present.

Another Korean celeb who graced the event and he took a selfie with is Jennie and they both looked soooo happy! That's because they have a ~connection~ due to Jennie's mom who's a big fan of him.

In an episode of Knowing Brothers, Jennie revealed that Jung Jae is the inspiration behind her name. Since her eomma loves him, she decided that she would name her future son Jae Hee—which is the name of Jung Jae's character in the SBS drama, Sandglass (also known as Hourglass).

When her mom gave birth to a daughter, she changed the name to Jennie because it sounds similar to Jae Hee! Before Jennie and Jung Jae took the iconic selfie, the actor already knew about this adorable fact: "I briefly met Lee Jung Jae once in real life, so I told him this story. He was really surprised and happy to hear that my mom was a fan of his," said Jennie in the Korean variety show. Guess life has its way of going full circle!

And ICYDK, Jung Jae is also a Blink! After watching BLACKPINK's hit documentary, BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky, he realized why the girls are so popular around the world and he immediately turned into a fan. You can watch his ~revelation~ right here:
