The brightest love team of this generation is set to take over the world as they return on screen for their film, An Inconvenient Love, set to be released in cinemas on November 23. During the LA press conference for their movie, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano expressed their appreciation toward each other.
When asked by the interviewer what they love about each other, both got flustered by the question. Still, Donny had the ~sweetest~ response to the question. He answered, “The biggest thing I would say is that number one, even if Belle has been in the industry even longer than I have–she’s been [here] for 11 years? You’ll still feel that she’s very grounded and that she’s still very, very eager to learn to grow and learn.”
Donny added, “She doesn’t make it seem like she’s all got it figured out in a good way, because sometimes if you have that ‘okay na ‘ko dami ko ng nagawa, napatunayan ko na sarili ko sa lahat’ sometimes that could be a step back. Because what’s left to prove yourself to others? To learn, to grow.”
The actor also mentioned how Belle’s motivation to become a better version of herself inspires him. “Not just in acting but in life, in general, and that’s something very cool and that’s something that inspires me, just how strong she is and how she never gives up. I think that’s also reflected in her craft, and her family as well," he said.
Meanwhile, Belle gladly shared her thoughts about her on-screen partner as well: “He’s a man of integrity. He’s very trustworthy. He’s also very generous, and those are just some stuff I really do appreciate. He’s a great partner, but other than being a great partner, he’s a great best friend!”
