We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: we need more teen shows back on TV! With long-time favorites like Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries down to their last seasons, it’s high time for a new wave of teen shows. Luckily, we’ve got Bella Thorne starring in a new series that could fill the future PLL-shaped hole in our hearts.

Based on the books by Rebecca Serle, Famous in Love is about a regular girl who gets the role of a lifetime and becomes an overnight sensation. Bella plays Paige Townsen, a college student cast in a major film franchise and paired with two of the hottest actors in Hollywood (played by Keith Powers and Carter Jenkins)—basically a fangirl's dream come true!

With its juicy BTS look at the glam life, shocking twists, and love triangles, the show reminds us a little bit of Gossip Girl with a dose of Pretty Little Liars. You see, Paige isn't just struggling with her newfound fame but also trying to uncover the truth behind a pop star's mysterious disappearance. And with PLL showrunner I. Marlene King calling the shots, you can bet that Famous in Love will have intrigue, drama, beauty and fashion goals, and all the other elements of PLL that you love. We can't wait for Famous in Love to premiere next summer!
