Mga ka-Hallyu fans na kinain na ng sistema ng K-Pop at K-Drama, where are you at? If you’ve fallen deep into the black hole of Korean Wave, we can’t blame you, because same. By now, you’ve probably picked up a couple of Korean words and phrases after binge-watching dramas and playing K-pop songs non-stop. But if you plan to take it a step further and actually learn and understand the Korean language and Hangeul (the Korean alphabet), there's a course that offers a fun way to do so.

The Ateneo Korean Studies Program of Ateneo de Manila University opened up a course called Hallyu Korean 1: Learning Korean Language through K-pop & K-Drama. According to the program’s Facebook announcement about it, the course “aims to introduce learners to Hangeul or Korean alphabet, vocabulary, grammar and expressions while learning Korean songs and watching drama clips.”

There will be a total of seven three-hours sessions beginning on March 28 to May 3, 2020, all for a total fee of P3,500. Deadline for registration is on March 26, 2020. And yes, the course is open to everyone, even non-ADMU students! Check out the post for the complete details below:
