Good morning to everyone, especially to Beliebers. In case you haven’t seen on Twitter yet, #Bieber2020 is trending and it’s all because Justin Bieber himself posted a rather vague vertical video with nothing but '2020' smack right in the middle of a grungy backdrop.
Fans are now making their own guesses that the 25-year-old pop star is hinting at a new album coming next year. His last release was four years ago when he dropped the Purpose album in 2015, which include the tracks “What Do You Mean?” and “Love Yourself.”
To further fuel fans’ speculations, Bieber’s manager and record exec Scooter Braun also jumped in on the hashtag bandwagon by tweeting #Bieber2020, which kind of confirms that something is indeed coming for Beliebers in 2020, right?
Justin revealed in his Vogue cover story with wife Hailey Bieber that he has taken a break from the music scene last year to focus on his personal life. He shared, “I’ve been successful since I was thirteen, so I didn’t really have a chance to find who I was apart from what I did. I just needed some time to evaluate myself: who I am, what I want out of my life, my relationships, who I want to be—stuff that when you’re so immersed in the music business you kind of lose sight of.”
Now that he's making his way back to the industry, what kind of music should fans expect from Justin's comeback? Whatever it is, it's making us extra excited for the new year.
