Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity 10 Big Winner Anji Salvacion, journeying towards self-reinvention, has just released her single "Paraiso" that reveals her growing maturity as an artist.

Embracing change, she also has gone bolder in her fashion choices.

For instance, at the Star Magical Prom on March 30, 2023, she stunned in a gold gown with a thigh-high slit, exuding confidence and glamour.

However, Anji's adventurous fashion changeovers have raised eyebrows and triggered negative comments mostly about her body.

"Yeah, nai-experience ko pa rin, hanggang ngayon marami pa rin [body-shaming comments]," she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the Keds Philippines' #DiscoverYou event at Kondwi in Makati City on May 24, 2023.

But the 20-year-old singer seemed unfazed by body-shamers targetting her on social media, focusing instead on managing her own reactions to harsh commentaries.

Anji said, "Iniisip ko na lang e, parang I don't handle them. I just handle how I react. So I handle myself."

And with that, she declared resolutely, "I don't care if people are gonna bash me. I just love my body!"

BOOSTING HER CONFIDENCE THROUGH FASHION

Fashion for Anji has been her confidence booster, opting for styles and looks that make her feel good.

In the same event, for instance, she paired her pastel pink suit with white sneakers.

She commented, "They're really comfortable. I always go for shoes that make us comfortable when we walk.

"And, of course, we all wanted to be tall. That's what I love about them, they're pretty.

"You can style them with anything. And I always choose white sneakers, they go with everything."

Sometimes, she would wear heels, "I would say it depends on my mood. If I wanted to be sassy, I go with the heels."

But then again, "And if I wanted to be comfortable and if I wanted to be cool, I go with the sneakers."
