Sunshine Cruz is proud about the latest achievement of Angelina.
On Tuesday night, September 27, 2021, Sunshine took to Instagram to congratulate her 20-year-old daughter, who finished her latest term in college with flying colors.
Angelina is currently taking up Marketing Management at the De La Salle University in Manila via online classes and self-learning modules.
Sunshine shared some of her photos with Angelina and wrote in the caption: "Congratulations Angelina in achieving first honors and being a dean’s lister for this term! [emojis] I know how focused you are with your studies.
"I’ve always told you girls to focus sa pag-aaral. Yung makapagtapos kayo ang pinakamagandang maibibigay nyong regalo kay mommy and I really appreciate your hard work.
"I know how challenging online classes is but you still did a great job! So proud of you Angelina! I love you! [emojis] #proudmom"
The comments section of Sunshine's post was filled with congratulatory messages from their closest friends and family.
Sunshine's boyfriend Macky Mathay wrote, "Congratulations Ange! Equally so proud of you!"
Geneva Cruz was also happy for her niece: "Congratulations, @angelinaisabele! [heart eyes emojis]"
This was not the first time Sunshine gave her panganay a shout-out.
On February 15, 2021, the actress revealed that Angelina finished her first term in college with flying colors.
Sunshine wrote, "Proud mom to Angelina! 1st year college (BS Marketing) and she is a Dean’s lister! [emojis] Congratulations anak! [emojis] #proudmom!"
In a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Angelina shared some of the challenges she encountered with online classes and how she was able to address them.
Angelina said, "Honestly... I get distracted really easily especially when I’m around my sisters because we’re super kulit.
"But what I do to not get easily distracted is to learn how to isolate myself. I place myself in the room and to make myself focused.
"Usually, how I do that is to keep my headphones on or my earphones on and play some music para I can be focused on my task."
