A lot of Gen Z celebrities aren't afraid to go all out with their promposals for the upcoming Star Magical prom on March 30. Case in point:Â Josh Worsley booked a helicopter ride for Criza Taa and Seth Fedelin prepared a candlelit dinner for Francine Diaz just to ask them out to prom.Â
Most recently, Andrea Brillantes also popped the question to her real-life boyfriend Ricci Rivero. To make things extra special, she asked Ricci through a banner during the second day of BLACKPINK's BORN PINK concert at the Philippine Arena on March 26, 2023.Â
The best part: The BLACKPINK girls themselves noticed Andrea's banner and helped her prompose! No kidding—Rosé took the time to read Andrea's sign out loud!
"Please go to prom with our girl," RosĂ© said as the audience cheered. She then proceeded to read Andrea's sign: "I just want to ask Ricci Rivero, will you go to prom with Andrea?"Â
ICYDK, Andrea's question is a callback to the way Ricci also publicly asked Andrea to be his girlfriend last year. Touched by the sweet gesture, Ricci said yes without any doubts!Â
"He said yes, he said for sure," RosĂ©Â said as Ricci and Andrea hugged each other. "Awww, so cute! Congratulations," Lisa gushed.Â
"None of us went to prom," Jennie shared, smiling at the elated couple with the other BLACKPINK members. "Congratulations to you guys!"Â
Andrea's definitely one lucky fan and girlfriend! After the concert, she updated her Instagram story with a cute clip of Ricci captioned, "Amazing night." Adorbs!Â
