Former child actress Andrea Brillantes recently addressed "assumptions" that she's had plastic surgery, joking: "Hindi po ako retokada, pero thanks for thinking that. Andrea, now 18, opened up about the plastic surgery rumors, as well as other assumptions about her in a new vlog.

ICYDK, Andrea rose to fame in 2013 when she starred in Annaliza, a drama series about the long-lost daughter of a rich family who grew up under the care of a fisherman. Back then, during an interview with Boy Abunda, a bb Andrea said becoming the "bida" of a series had always been her dream:
Fast forward to 2021 and Andrea explains why her nose might look different to viewers when she starred in the hit teleserye Kadenang Ginto, which aired its first episode in October 2018.

In her vlog, Andrea revealed that while people think she was a "mean girl" in school, she's actually the one who got bullied. On being called "maldita," Andrea says she only has a resting b*tch face and that some people misinterpret her shyness for meanness. She also opened up about growing up in a slum area, saying that before she entered showbiz, rats used to bite her feet because she slept on a mat on the floor.
