You guys, global superstars BLACKPINK just held a two-day concert at the Philippine Arena last weekend, and many of our fave celebs were *spotted* dancing their hearts out to the K-pop girl group’s award-winning songs. Included in the list of stars who attended the concert is Andrea Brillantes, who’s a certified ~*Blink*~ herself!
It wasn’t like any other concert for the actress, however, as she was *actually* noticed by BLACKPINK! ICYMI, Andrea held up a sign asking Ricci if he could be her date for the upcoming Star Magical Prom on March 30. “I just wanna ask Ricci Rivero, will you go to prom with Andrea?” the sign reads, referencing the basketball star’s *viral* proposal at the MOA Arena back in 2022.

While some fans were happy for Andrea, several netizens are *bashing* the actress for being “papansin,” with others even calling the promposal “cringey.” “Ang papansin po. This night is not about them,” one comment reads.

However, several Filo Blinks are defending the actress from negative comments, telling bashers to leave Andrea alone. “‘She didn't deserve that spotlight.’ As if Blythe asked and begged for BLACKPINK to notice her when she was just raising that small banner JUST. LIKE. EVERYONE. ELSE! Leave her alone and cut her some slack,” says one netizen.

Even Andrea's sister took to Instagram to defend her, telling netizens to "let her be" because she's also a fan just like everyone else.
"Fan talaga ang kapatid ko, masama ba kung nag-try siya mag-papansin sa idols niya? Aminin na natin, lahat tayo gusto nating mapansin ng BLACKPINK, okay? Umaga palang nasa arena na siya para pumila JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE," she wrote in a now-deleted IG story.
