One of the most successful young stars in the industry is Andrea Brillantes, who you may know from her iconic role in Kadenang Ginto as Margaret “Marga” Bartolome. She’s also one of the most followed TikTok users in the Philippines, solidifying her influence both on television and social media.

Andrea’s birthday is on March 12.
Born on March 12, 2003, Andrea is currently 18 years old. Her real name is Anndrew Blythe Daguio Gorostiza. People born under the season of the zodiac sign Pisces are best known for their emotional awareness and artistry. No wonder Andrea has a lot of talents and creative juices!

Most people who are selective with what they eat usually steer away from vegetables, but the food that Andrea can’t stomach is different. For one of her vlogs, she had her Instagram followers decide the course of her day. Among the suggestions they gave her was to eat oatmeal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She tried to do it, but couldn’t. In fact, she would rather bite a clove of garlic or finish a slice of lemon (with a straight face, FYI!) than take a spoonful of oatmeal!
Andrea's room is every teenager’s dream.
Why buy snacks when you can make them in your room? Andrea has a snack bar in her room, complete with a cotton candy machine, ice cream maker, snow cone maker, and popcorn maker! Her onscreen mother from Kadenang Ginto, Dimples Romana, also gave her a mini refrigerator as a gift. How sweet!
Andrea has her own makeup line.
Back in 2019, Andrea released her own makeup collection under the local cosmetic brand Careline. Named Blythe Cosmetics, the collection features bright colors and metallic hues. The collection takes a fun twist at the galaxy theme. One of the lipsticks, for example, is named Cosmos and comes in the shade royal blue. The packaging also exudes Andrea’s personality, with its youthful and bright appearance we can’t help but love.

In one of her vlogs, her love team partner Seth and her Ate Kayla went against each other to see who knew Andrea better. As it turns out, she has an endless list of talents and hobbies. The young actress’ favorite sport is football, and she’s currently obsessed with the computer game Valorant.
Andrea and Seth have the most precious pet name.
Seth Fedelin rose to fame after being one of the teen housemates in Pinoy Big Brother: Otso back in 2018. After starring in Kadenang Ginto, he and Andrea became an onscreen love team. In an interview with Boy Abunda on the late night talk show Tonight With Boy Abunda, Seth explains the origin of their pet name, “Ali.” The pet name is derived from “buddy,” a term people with an unbreakable bond use. As Seth defines, “Ali” means “walang iwanan.”
What’s actually going on between the two? They’re *special* friends, Seth revealed earlier this year.
In April 2022 after going official with basketball star Ricci Rivero, Andrea revealed that she and Seth dated for two years and ended their relationship in October 2021. The two remained friends and Seth even expressed his support for Andrea and Ricci's budding relationship.
Andrea starred in Huwag Kang Mangamba.
Andrea starred alongside Kadenang Ginto co-stars Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth in the TV series Huwag Kang Mangamba. The four of them comprise the barkada The Gold Squad, formed under Dreamscape Entertainment. If you’re used to Andrea’s role as the mean girl Marga Bartolome and Francine as the do-gooder Cassie Mondragon in Kadenang Ginto, their latest series turns their familiar onscreen personalities around.
In Huwag Kang Mangamba, Andrea plays Mira, a kind blind girl who miraculously gains the sense of sight after an accident that intertwines her life with Francine’s cynical character named Joy. Things take a very interesting turn when it is revealed that (spoiler alert!) the two are actually siblings!
