It’s been a little over a year since Four Sisters Before A Wedding wrapped up, but the bond between its lead stars is stronger than ever—as proven by the latest reunion of young actresses Alexa Ilacad and Charlie Dizon.
The former PBB housemate shared the adorable moment on her Instagram stories. “My teddieburr! Walang katumbas yung saya ko na makita ka uli!!” she wrote. “Tili pa lang nating dalawa, halos mayanig na yung buong building! I’m so proud of you. I love you and I miss our sisters!"
Charlie, who recently teamed up with Joshua Garcia in the hit show Viral Scandal, shared Alexa’s excitement and wished they were with their co-stars Belle Mariano and Gillian Vicencio. She shared Alexa’s post, captioned: "Sobra. 'Di ako makapaniwalang nagkita na sa wakas! I love you my Bobbie Boobah. Kulang na kulang ang isang araw. Ulitin natin please kasama na @_gillianvicencio and @belle_mariano!"
In the movie, Charlie starred as the young version of Teddie, the role originally played by Toni Gonzaga. On the other hand, Alexa portrayed Bobbie, the iconic character of Bea Alonzo.
Gillian and Belle played the roles of young Alex (Angel Locsin) and Gabbie (Shaina Magdayao), respectively.
In 2020, Alexa expressed her gratitude for playing such an iconic role and sharing the big screen with her reel-life sisters. In one post, she wrote a touching message to her co-stars: “Sobra ko kayong mami-miss. Not sisters by blood, but sisters by heart. For life.”
