Alden Richards has a busy few weeks ahead of him. He's currently preparing for his anniversary concert "Alden's Reality" on December 8, which is considered as the first ever virtual concert to take place in the country.
During quarantine, however, playing video games was what kept Alden busy at home. Gaming was his outlet outside of work. Before March, Alden had already set up his custom-built gaming setup at home (which cost around P450,000!).

Having been a gamer since he was seven years old, Alden has played most of the popular video games out there, including Counter Strike, Half-Life, Ragnarok, Tekken, Genshin Impact, Valorant, League of Legends, and Mobile Legends, to name a few.
Recently, the Kapuso star also ventured into video game streaming through his official Facebook channel. He even held a charity stream wherein 100 percent of the earnings would be donated to victims of Typhoon Ulysses. Alden was able to raise around P220,000 from viewers who tuned in to the stream.
As someone who's relatively new to streaming, we're curious to find out if Alden looks up to any video game streamers himself. Turns out, he personally tunes in to streamers of first-person shooter (FPS) games since that's what he likes to play. Internationally, Alden looks up to 19-year-old Valorant streamer TenZ of Cloud9.

A Canada-based streamer, TenZ is Cloud9's first ever Valorant player and is one of their youngest Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) gamers. Locally, he admires Ling2x, a FPS streamer and aspiring esports caster.
Despite being new to the streaming scene, however, Alden is doing pretty good himself. He has been racking up hundreds of thousands of views per stream since he started. One of his most viewed streams was a Mobile Legends stream, with over 800,000 views to date.
