The hit series Riverdale is coming back with its fifth season on January 20, 2021 and it seems we'll be spotting another familiar face among the Riverdale High School crowd. On January 2, Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa posted a teaser of the new season on his Instagram account featuring Madeleine Petsch (who plays Cheryl Blossom) and 18-year-old Filipino dancer AC Bonifacio.

In the video, Madeleine is seen doing a dance-off with AC, who is dressed in the signature River Vixen costume. Aguirre-Sacasa tagged both Madeleine and AC in his post, which AC reposted with the caption, "Here's my page 1/365 submission :) startin off the year right w a lil sneak peek to #Riverdale Season 5!"

AC getting to showcase her dancing skills on a globally popular Netflix series is a great start to her 2021. The year 2020 wasn't so bad for AC either. In June 2020, AC won 2nd place in YG Entertainment's global dance cover contest for Blackpink's "How You Like That."

Riverdale Season 5 is coming out on Netflix on January 20, 2021.
