Watch: Let the Right One In, a Swedish film that doesn't focus so much on vampire lore but more on the relationship between a young boy and his next-door neighbor, who happens to be undead. You can also try watching Let Me In, the Hollywood remake that stars Chloe Moretz as the vampire child.
If you want: some fun with your gore
Watch: What We Do in the Shadows, a hilarious mockumentary that shows the day-to-day (or night-to-night) life of a group of centuries-old vampires plus a newly turned one in modern-day New Zealand. Best to cap off your vampire weekend with this one so you can end on a happy note!
