We've already given you 52 movies to watch this year. Now, we're giving you 8 more just because it's always a great time to watch movies. Have fun marking your calendars, Candy Girls, but remember that premiere dates may change without prior notice.

  1. The Bet. Based on the best selling Pop Fiction novel of the same title, Star Cinema is giving us a movie to provide us with a huge source of kilig as if Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil on Forevermore weren't really enough.

  2. Halik sa Hangin. (January 28) One reason why you should watch this film? Because Gerald Anderson and Julia Montes are paired for the first time in this film, which kind of looks like a mystery-slash-romance flick.

  3. That Thing Called Tadhana. (February 4) After this Cinema One original entry made headlines when it was shown for a limitted time last year (critics say it's like Richard Linklater's Before Sunset, BTW), the movie (starring JM de Guzman and Angelica Panganiban) heads back to cinemas this year and you shouldn't miss it this time around.

  4. Stars Versus Me. Will you let your star signs and horoscopes dictate your relationships? Former Pinoy Big Brother: All In housemates Manolo Pedrosa and Maris Racal show you how they deal with astrology and their own choices in this romantic-comedy movie.

  5. Para sa Hopeless Romantic. Watch one of the country's fave teen love teams play it out on the big screen with Iñigo Pascual and Julia Barretto for the adaptation of Marcelo Santos III's book of the same title this year.

  6. Never Talk Back to a Gangster. ICYMI, James Reid and Nadine Lustre's movie, Talk Back and You're Dead, is getting a sequel. No specifics on the plot were revealed yet, but Nadine Lustre, Joseph Marco, and James Reid will surely be reprising their roles.

  7. Liwanag sa Dilim. Because we know you're always in the mood for horror flicks, as if you're not covering your eyes half the time (LOL!), we're happy to report that teen stars Jake Vargas and Bea Binene are starring in one this year.

  8. The Retreat House. Speaking of horror films, Janella Salvador is also starring in one. No deets on the story yet, but aren't you glad this talented girl's getting a good start this year.
