5 Things You Missed While You Were In School (February 26)Star-crossed love is a tested and proven formula of the best YA (read: young adult) novels. Kieran Scott's new book Only Everything, the first from her upcoming True Love trilogy, promises the same thing. Hitting the bookshelves on May 6, Only Everything is about the goddess Eros's attempts at matchmaking—her punishment for defying Zeus and after she was banished from the heavens. Eros has no choice but to do it, because she has to return and save her boyfriend Orion's life. What's exciting is that the novel's rights have already been bought by a production company, so a TV show or a movie based on the book will soon come out. Excited? Read an excerpt from the book here.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have been chosen to back two separate projects for World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour Blue. Andrew is supporting the project A Flame Called Hope, which aims to provide clean bio-gas energy for local communities in Nepal. Meanwhile, Emma chose to support the Puppy Protectors, which aims to train sniffer dog puppies and handlers so they can help protect animals against wildlife crimes. Earth Hour's annual "lights out event" will be held on March 29 at 8:30 PM. Watch Andrew's message below and join them in supporting Earth Hour.

Speaking of Spider-Man, the movie also released its new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 earlier today. The vid shows the rise of his new enemy Electro played by Jamie Foxx, and the other enemies he has to fight.

This flashlight could change the world. Sixteen-year-old Ann Makonsinski's hollow flashlight—one that solely relies on the heat produced by the human hands—won the local science fair in Canada last year, and it's now making the headlines! The inspiration for Ann's science project was a friend of hers from the Philippines who didn't have electricity at home, which resulted in getting failed marks in school. Watch her explain how the flashlight works below. It's pretty amazing!
