Lily Collins opened up about her battle with eating disorder when she was still a teenager during an interview for her movie To the Bone. She spoke of how much her role spoke to her because of what she went through. "This was definitely a more dramatic role for me; I suffered with eating disorders when I was a teenager as well. I wrote a book last year and I wrote my chapter on my experiences a week before I got Marti [Noxon]'s script and it was like the universe putting these things in my sphere to help me face, kind of dead on, a fear that I used to have," Lily explained.
"And, a way to explain it as someone who's gone through it and to open up a topic that is considered quite taboo with young people nowadays, male, female, and to really start a conversation," she added. "It caused me to have to emotionally go there, but in a way that was the most safe, healthy way possible with a nutritionist, and really to physically go there but also emotionally and it did require a different set of emotional skills, to kind of go back in time for me, with you know, my experiences. So definitely a different type of film for me to do, very, very personal."
We love how celebrities like Lily opens up about this battle because then we are also brought to a conversation about this important issue. What do you think of what she said? (via Cosmopolitan.com.au)
Did Louis Tomlinson and Danielle Campbell split up for good? After the rumors late last year that the two have broken up (and Louis's sad Insta-selfie for New Year!), sources have confirmed that they are indeed over. According to reports, the two figured that this is the best decision for now. "She has stood by him, remained loyal and continued to be a great support, which is exactly what he needs," the source told The Sun. "Sometimes these things just don't work out and for Louis and Danielle this was the best way forward." But the good thing is, they still remain "mates" even after the breakup as the source revealed. Eep, Justin Bieber totally dragged The Weeknd... in public! TMZ asked the "Sorry" hitmaker whether he's listened to The Weeknd's music. His response? "Hell no, that sh*t's whack!" WHAT? Hmm, to be fair, he responded to a question about his music and not The Weeknd and Sel's rumored relationship, so we're hoping this isn't Justin dragging him down. (via Dolly.com.au)
Rumors are going around about a possible Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie. But Harry Potter creator JK Rowling finally broke her silence about it and said that there's no truth to the rumors. Sorry, Potterheads! Guess we just have to marathon all eight movies for now. :'(
Oh no! Peeps are a bit mad at Taylor Swift after she tweeted about the Women's March that happened on Donald Trump's inauguration, especially because she wasn't seen anywhere during the march. Although some fans tweeted about her attendance, other fans defended her.
