It's been revealed in 2014 that Paramount obtained the rights to adapt John Green's novel Looking For Alaska for the big screen. But more than a year after, things aren't looking good as the author himself revealed in a series of tweets. The frustrated tweets from the author have been deleted already, but we found out that "the movie studio that owns the rights to the book in question won't return [his] phone calls", and "haven't for months." Oh no. He also tweeted, "I don't think they like me. The feeling is profoundly mutual. So I can't even get someone to answer the telephone, let alone cast a film." Huhu, hope they start working on this together again. (viaSugarscape.com)
