5 Things You Missed Today (April 1)
Was the reason for Zayn Malik's One Direction exit his relationship with Little Mix's Perrie Edwards? Just like the rest of you, we want to know the truth, too. Recent reports said that the reason for his exit from the band was that he felt the need to choose between his career and Perrie. But before you go blaming his girl, take it easy and remember that Zayn can actually make the decisions for himself.
According to Closer's interview (via Sugarscape) with an insider, "He's always struggled with the fame and felt it all became too much. In the end, he felt it was a choice between the band or Perrie—and he chose Perrie." Furthermore, he was also said to spend an hour crying over the phone to bandmate Harry Styles to make the boys understand his decision.
As for Perrie, the source said that she's devastated about the accusations and is having a difficult time dealing with the haters and the recent cheating allegations on her partner. "She's already trying to get through each day with the weight of the cheating allegations on her shoulders and the latest backlash is pushing her to the limit. But Zayn promised he'd make her his number-one priority... She told Zayn he needed to make it clear him leaving the band wasn't her fault." Do you think this is true, Candy Girls? Or do you feel as confused as most of us are? Let's talk in the comments.
Are The Vamps' James McVey and Bella Thorne dating? We're not really sure if it's a romantic date, but they do look good together and they seem happy to be in each other's company. The two talked about their dinner date on Twitter and even attended The DUFF's press event rrecently. Ahh, we're trying so hard not to ship these two.
These awesome clips of Hozier's live performances of his hit songs are making us love him more. The Irish musician recently performed live for iHeartRadio and we're totally wishing we're there to watch him live. Watch him sing "Someone New" in this video below.
<>John Green and Penguin Teens Australia, don't ever pull that kind of prank on us again! The author, together with his Australian publishers, tweeted about a new book. And it's just not any new book. It's a spinoff of The Fault In Our Stars. Tagged Not In the Stars to Hold Our Destiny, the book is about Caroline Mathers and Augustus Waters. In case you already forgot, Caroline was the person Gus dated before Hazel Grace who died of brain tumor. The fans weren't the only ones fooled by their April Fools' Day joke. Even John Green's American and international publishers believed it, too. Oh, man, don't ever do that to us again.
