Do you guys think Taylor Swift copied a scene from Beyoncé's music video? There are some accusations and drew out comparisons from Beyoncé's "Lemonade" to Tay's new MV in "Look What You Made Me Do." To clear all misunderstandings, the Director of LWYMMD, Joseph Kahn, responded to this issue on Twitter saying, "I've worked with Beyoncé a few times. She's an amazing person. The #LWYMMDvideo is not in her art space, Love and respect to Bey." And in his recent interview with Los Angeles Times, he commented about the copying issue—specifically the accusations that Taylor wore a black crop top which was similar to Beyoncé who also wore a black crop top. He said that what they don't realize is that Tay was also wearing a black crop top in her previous MV "Bad Blood." Copying Beyonce or not, why are people making a big deal about their fashion choices? Can't it just be on trend? LOL. (via teenvogue.com)
