Sandara Park has always been vocal about her love for the Philippines and she proved it once again when she celebrated the 119th Philippine Independence Day in Seoul, South Korea's Han River. Dara is the Friendship Ambassador of the Philippines to Korea and she delivered a heartfelt speech to the (mostly) Filipinos in attendance. "Parang first time ko yata makasama ng ganito karaming Pinoy sa Korea!" In her speech, she shared that the Philippines is her second home and that she's received so much love from Pinoys. "Mahal na mahal ko po ang Pilipinas," she said. She also shared that her favorite vacation spots are beaches like Boracay, Palawan, Bohol, and Subic as well as her favorite dishes: sisig, pinakbet, and her favorite, sinigang na hipon. Aww, we love you back, Dara! (via ilovekstars.com)
Fans of Lee Sung Kyung recently discovered pics of their idol pre-Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo fame and were surprised to know that the actress had monolids then. Her pictures now show she has double eyelids, which got them thinking if she's had cosmetic surgery done. Not that they cared, really. If anything, the pictures only proved how much they love her and how loyal they are to their idol. You're pretty inside and out, monolid or not, Biblee! (via ilovekstars.com)
How does a "Bad Liar" film—not music video—sound to you? We ask because there just might be a sliver of hope for that. Selena Gomez recently took to Instagram and posted a "Bad Liar" movie poster—a legit-looking poster with credits and a real director—and not just once but thrice! "Bad Liar" already has a music video available on Spotify (albeit exclusively), so it can't be a teaser for her new MV, right? Right?! Whatever it is, we're still here for it. But drop it already, Sel! (via teenvogue.com)
It's moments like this that make us believe that a 1D reunion is possible again! Liam Payne applauded Niall Horan's performance at the One Love Manchester benefit concert and we're screaming internally. "It's great to see him. He's different with his different hair. I haven't seen him in a while but I've watched his progression and how he's doing at the moment. I watched him play at the Ariana gig which I thought was an amazing thing everyone did. Hats off to him, it was such an important cause as well," he said at the Capital FM Summertime Ball. As if that wasn't enough, Liam also posted a throwback pic of him and the lads from the same event. D'aww! Reunion soon, please! (via dolly.com.au)
It looks like we'll be seeing more of Sue Ramirez in the coming months as she'll be playing Kathryn Bernardo's ate in their new show, La Luna Sangre. "Kakaiba siya dahil sa Pangako Sa'yo partido ako ni Daniel, ngayon kay Kathryn naman ako at hindi ako third party dito. Magiging ate ako ni Kathryn at kami 'yung mag-aalaga sa kanya and make sure na safe siya," she shared. When she was asked about what she found the most challenging about her role, she said, "medyo mature ['yung role ko], mas matanda 'yung role ko sa totoong edad ko. Siguro iyon 'yung challenge don." We're so excited for this and happy for you, Sue! (via push.abs-cbn.com)
