The lads are rumored to be reuniting after Simon Cowell asked them to sing "Bridge Over Troubled Water" in a charity single for the Grenfell Tower victims. Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have already confirmed they'll be taking part in the cover, while Niall Horan and Harry Styles are still freeing up their scheds. Eep! Leave it to Lorde to say the most interesting things. While doing press for her second album, Melodrama, the "Green Light" singer was asked about her friendship with Taylor Swift and one of the words she used to describe it was "autoimmune disease." Unfortunately, her analogy did not sit well with some people who thought it was offensive to those suffering from the disease. In her reply to a tweet, Lorde issued an apology and said, "didn't mention taylor, but regardless, i f**ked up & that was really insensitive. i'm sorry."Â Â (via justjaredjr.com)Â
Can you imagine BTS starring in your next favorite K-drama? You better get used to it because the group is working on their acting chops, not exactly for a show (yet!), but for a drama project that may be related to their music. According to a source from the group's acency, "The individual member drama project is one of the programs that Big Hit Entertainment is preparing for this year and next year. However, as it's still in the early planning stages, there is absolutely nothing that we can say about it yet." This is great news and we can't wait for them to debut their acting chops! "Yes I do" was Liza Soberano's reply when asked if she loves her long-time love team partner Enrique Gil. The two are on the cover of YES! Magazine's July issue and admitted that they're in a "relationship with no labels." Enrique was more specific and expressive by saying, "Yeah, I'm super in love" and later added, "This is the real love. Yeah. It's her. And I tell her that naman…And it's the first time I tell that to any girl, so I guess, she's the one." Aww! Is it just us or is kilig really in the air? (via pep.ph)
Uh-oh! Remember when Shailene Woodley was arrested at a protest this year? Her co-star Miles Teller experienced the same thing this weekend but for a different reason: public intoxication. The Divergent actor immediately tweeted an explanation, saying "Went down to SD to see my buddy before he deployed. I wasn't arrested I was detained bc there was no evidence to charge me with a crime." Meanwhile, the San Diego Police Department spokesperson Billy Hernandez had something else to say as he confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Miles was "rejected by a detox center, where he was uncooperative, and was subsequently arrested and booked at the local jail."
