To show her support to the LGBT community for Pride Month, Selena Gomez shared a fond memory when a drag queen serenaded her on her 16th birthday. She used her love letter to the LGBT community to share her childhood memories when she was surrounded by kind, fun, and loving friends of her mother who were gay. Selena also gives credit to her mom for raising her in an open-minded and non-judgmental environment. She also shared her hopes that one day, "a person is never judged, discriminated, or feared for their sexuality." (via
