We've been eagerly awaiting Harry Styles' big screen debut for what seems like ages already but we're even more excited after this bit of news from the movie's director himself. While some people might think Hazza got the role purely because of hype, you'll be happy to know that he totally earned the part. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Director Christopher Nolan admitted that he wasn't completely aware just how famous Harry was. He said, "I mean, my daughter had talked about him. My kids talked about him, but I wasn't really that aware of it. So the truth is, I cast Harry because he fit the part wonderfully and truly earned a seat at the table." Aww, this makes us even more psyched to watch Harold on the big screen! Check out the latest teaser below—we finally hear Harry speak a line! (via hollywoodreporter.com)

We suppose this is more wishful thinking on our part but this mini The Carrie Diaries reunion made us miss the show so bad! While there are no talks of a Season 3 or film version, the Instagram captions featuring AnnaSophia Robb, Lindsey Elgort, Stephania Owen with producer Amy Harris make us hope that there will be some sort of onscreen reunion for this cast in the future. You already love Rihanna for her hits but after this sneak peek at Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, you just might turn into a fan of her acting. In the movie directed by Luc Besson based on the French science fiction comic series Valerian and Laureline, bad gal Riri plays Bubble, a cabaret star, who's clearly more than just that. Check out the video she shared on Instagram below to see her sharing a laugh with co-star Dane DeHaan. Catch the film in theaters this month! (via mtv.com)

Leading up to the release of their new album this week, The Vamps' Brad Simpson talks about the first song they've ever written in this video. He also shares how their online following got started after they had played that very song in front of the record label peeps. "I remember we went and had a meeting with record label and we came out to meet and there was a bunch of fans who were waiting for another band who were apparently in that record label," he recounts. "We were like, 'you know what let's play a few songs for them.' The song we decided to play was 'She Was the One' and it got video-ed. And that was the start of our online following off the back of these kids that waited for another band. They loved 'She Was the One' so much that they wanted to put it on YouTube and they started fan accounts that night. Still to this, 'She Was the One' and those fans are still very special, a big part of the band." Hit the play button below to hear the rest of the story!
