The 2015 Billboard Music Awards, one of the biggest music events this year, just happened at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier. Music industry's biggest and brightest names flocked to the event to celebrate the awesome year for the industry. Of course, because we can't fly to Las Vegas to watch the show live, we just stalked the hashtag to have a peek at when went down at this year's event. Here are five of our fave moments.
1 One Direction prove they'll be brothers for life.

When Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan went onstage to accept their award for Top Duo/Group, Liam spoke for everyone and acknowledged the fact that they won't have the award without their brother, ex-1D member Zayn Malik. These guys will be brothers for life, no doubt about that. And our hearts are haaving so much feels~ right now after watching this bit at the #BBMAs. Aside from Top Duo/Group, 1D also took home the award for Top Touring Artist.

2 Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are definitely getting closer.

There's a ton of evidence online on their relationship, and we can't help but ship them. So hard. #Tayvin5eva Raise your hand if you totally tallied how many times our dear T-Swizzle hugged (and got kissed on the cheek by Calvin?) before going onstage to accept her awards. Ugh, can they formally announce their relationship already? We really, really want them to end up together. This night proved to be Taylor's as she won Top Artist, Billboard Chart Achievement Award, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album for 1989, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 1oo Artist, and Top Digital Songs Artist. PS Calvin won Top Dance/Electronic Artist, too. NBD.
3 Sam Smith doesn't even have to try to be adorable.
He just is! Sam is currently taking a break from singing and has been refraining from using his voice after recovering from vocal surgery. So when he won the award for Top Male Artist, he used cue cards instead to thank everyone and to give shoutouts to his best friends Taylor and Ed Sheeran.
4 Ed Sheeran approves of Tayvin.

Ed sat beside the music couple, and we saw how he reacted when Taylor gave Calvin a big hug before going onstage. Our hearts are melting. We can see how genuinely happy he is for his bestie.
5 #OhNoNiall is so last season.

Because #OhNoLiam is the new thing. The hashtag started to trend when the video of Liam above went viral. He was supposed to say something but was cut off by the music. Of course, Harry, Louis, and Niall laughed at him like there's no tomorrow. It's okay, Liam, maybe you just have to use TwitLonger to say what you were supposed to say earlier.
