5SOS, Ariana Grande, Lorde, and more artists rocked one of music's biggest events!

One of the biggest events in the music industry happened earlier—the Billboard Music Awards! Aside from the winners, we still can't get over the electrifying performances some of our fave musicians gave earlier. Here are some of our favorites:

5 Seconds of Summer

The Australian band gave the crowd a rockin' performance of their hit song "She Looks Perfect," even though presenter Kendall Jenner did a John Travolta while introducing the cuties. All is forgiven, Kendall. We understand Harry Styles still has an effect on you. LOLJK!

Iggy Azalea feat. Charli XCX and Ariana Grande

These three lovely ladies performed two of the year's biggest hits "Fancy" and "Problem," which sent the crowd in full party mode. Iggy performed alongside Charli XCX (which you can remember from the The Fault In Our Stars' song "Boom Clap"), while Ariana wowed the crowd with her performance of "Problem."

Lorde

Top New Artist and Top Rock Song (for "Royals") winner, Lorde, performed her current single "Tennis Court." The 17-year-old singer later thanked her supporters via Twitter, as she's still stoked about all her wins this year.

Katy Perry

Top Female Artist winner Katy Perry brought the crowd more excitement with her performance of her latest single "Birthday," wherein she wore a colorful costume and gave the audience a nice surprise at the end of her number.

Michael Jackson

Who gets to perform and release an album even when he's already up there? Only the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, can do that. A hologram projection of the late pop star who died in 2009 was shown, which was quite surreal as it feels like he's really at the event, dancing and singing "Slave To the Rhythm" from his posthumous album Xscape
