Huhu, if only we could rewrite the endings.

There's a reason why these movies made us tear up and even cry when we watched them in cinemas. Not only did they have tragic endings; they also have heartbreaking deaths of the characters we loved. If you're looking for movies to watch this weekend that will make your hearts break a little, we're sure these movies will do that job for you. Happy watching!

  1. The Fault in Our Stars

They were doomed from the very start. Hazel Grace and Augustus are both sick, but the unexpected happens in the end when one of them checks out of life at such an early time.

  1. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl

Like TFIOS, we knew from the start that someone was going to die in this movie. What's heartbreaking was that it felt like they weren't even given a chance to make more memories together. Huhu!

  1. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Thought Star Wars movies are all about action? Nope. This Star Wars story actually broke our hearts because it reminded us of the cost of freedom. In a war for equality and peace, there really are people who will risk their lives for a bigger cause even if they know that they won't be able to enjoy the product of their fight.

  1. Me Before You

It's a fact; loving someone who's sick will only get your heart broken. But that's not a reason to back out of it. That's exactly what Emilia Clarke's Louisa Clark reminds us of. If anything, loving someone you know you're going to lose makes you braver and stronger.

  1. A Walk to Remember

And for a dose of classic, make sure you watch AWTR again! This movie was probably the first one that broke our hearts and opened our eyes to the kind of love that stays with you forever.
