It's the middle of the semester and we know you're missing the outdoors or going out into the world right now. That's how we feel, too. But in case you have a lot of things to do and can't go out at the moment (hi, schoolwork!), you can watch and re-watch these movies for now instead to keep you company until you get to pack your bags and experience the world again. Hang in there, Candy Girls!
- Ella Enchanted (2004)
What it will remind you of: After all is said and done, you alone have the power to take control of your life. People may say what they want to say about you but if you don't let their words get to you, then they remain powerless over your life.
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)
What it will remind you of: Friends, the family we choose, are just around the corner—only if you're willing to open your heart to them and let them fight by your side.
- Inside Out (2015)
What it will remind you of: The journey matters, too, as much or even more than the destination. Don't disregard the teeny bits of lesson (and people!) you encounter along the way, because they're surely impart a piece of their wisdom to you—you just have to give them the chance to do so.
- Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)
What it will remind you of: You'll get the strength to fight for who you are and what you believe in from the people you surround yourself with. This is why we should always be in the company of the people who believe in us and in what we're capable of.
- The Secret World of Arrietty (2010)
What it will remind you of: Home was never about the place; it will always be the feeling. It doesn't matter where you are in the world for as long as you are with the people you hold dear to your heart.
