  1. Reese Lansangan

Surprise—or not really, if you're an observant Batang Lansangan—the ridiculously talented artist just dropped a brand-new EP yesterday. We at the Candy HQ, Of Sound Mind and Memory, do hereby declare that you'll fall in steady love with the four introspective tracks, especially "For the Fickle."

  1. Ben & Ben

After breaking out with the love song "Tinatangi," with Cookie Chua and Bayang Barrios, at last year's PhilPOP Music Festival, this indie folk duo continues to woo us with their sweet, sweeping songs. Previously named The Benjamins, brothers Paolo and Miguel Guico make songs that will have you reaching for that special someone's hand—but if that’s not an option right now, it’s okay. Just sing your heart out with the rest of the crowd.

  1. BP Valenzuela

You know that feeling when a BP Valenzuela song comes on and you just melt into a puddle of sweat and tears? Well, if her new album's name, Crydancer, is any indication, you'll have more of those songs coming when it drops this July. For now, you can vibe to "bbgirl," a super smooth single that captures the hazy, can’t-get-enough feeling of a new love.

  1. Kiana Valenciano

Pulsing and low-key confrontational, "Does She Know" deserves a music video that is as visually arresting as it is sonically, and that's exactly what Kiana Valenciano delivers in this intimate, (almost) one-woman show.

Don't miss: The acoustic version of “Does She Know” featuring Curtismith.

  1. Ang Bandang Shirley

The indie rock band that scored your core memories with "Theme Song," "Sa Madaling Salita," "Di Na Babalik," "Nakauwi Na," "Tama Na Ang Drama," and a lot more is back with a new album, possibly their best one yet. Favorite is vocalist Selena Davis' last album with the band, but if there’s one thing Shirley is good at, it's squeezing every last drop of the good in goodbye.

Their latest: The "Maginhawa" music video launch on May 6
