If you had all the time in the world, anong gagawin mo? For many of us, we’d probably dedicate a good amount just to binge every single K-drama that piques our interest, especially now that more and more Korean shows are being made more accessible to us Pinoy fans.

If you’re in need of a temporary escape from the real world, here are five K-dramas worth checking out. P.S. They’re all available for streaming on Viu!

If you’re into rom-coms…

A Piece of Your Mind

This K-drama features the love story of Ha Won, an AI programmer, and Seo Woo, a classical music recording engineer, and stars Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin. In a report from Soompi, Jung Hae In shares that he accepted the role in the drama because he wanted to challenge himself by taking on an interesting role that dealt with artificial intelligence. He also adds that, unlike his character on the show, he’s never had to deal with unrequited love IRL. The show will be up for streaming on March 24, 2020.

If you’re into something light…

Meow, The Secret Boy

Cat lovers, you might find this particularly interesting! Meow, The Secret Boy, also called Welcome, is a new K-drama based on a webtoon of the same name, which follows the story of a cat named Hong Jo (who can transform into human form, mind you) and his human owner Sol Ah. The two leads are played by Kim Myung Soo, better known as L from Korean boy band INFINITE, and Shin Ye Eun, who previously starred in He Is Psychometric with GOT7's Park Jin Young. It will be available for streaming on March 26, 2020.

Anong gagawin mo kung may superpower ka? For this show’s lead character, he develops the power to read people’s memories when he was in high school and went on to become a detective when he grew up. The show is also based on a webtoon and stars Yoo Seung Ho and Lee Se Young.

If you’re into Sci-Fi…

365: Repeat the Year

In this time-slip drama, 10 people time travel to one year ago in order to ~reset~ their lives. But of course, with any time travel-related storylines, some things are bound to go wrong. The drama stars Lee Joon Hyuk and Nam Ji Hyun and will be available on Viu starting March 24, 2020.

If you’re into sports…

Handsome Tigers

Handsome Tigers is a variety show all about basketball. Knowing Bros’ Seo Jang Hoon is enlisted as head coach and forms a team called Handsome Tigers consisting of Lee Sang Yun, Julien Kang, Kang Kyung Jun, Kim Seung Hyun, Showry, Seo Ji Suk, Yoo Seon Ho, and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo. It also features Red Velvet’s Joy as the team’s manager!
