The Amazing Spider-Man 2 premieres tomorrow! Is your heart ready to feel the feels from that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone chemistry? How about for the action-packed scenes, which we heard were awesome? Not yet? Here are a few things you ought to prepare for before you head to theaters tomorrow.
- No Mary Jane Watson yet.
Although they've already cast Shailene Woodley as MJ and shot some of her scenes, those were cut from this movie, unforch. The character is reserved for the third and fourth installments.
- Spidey's up against three super villains.
First, there's Electro (Jamie Foxx), an electric engineer from Oscorp Industries (no, he's not from Avatar, hrhrhr)—he admires Spider-Man at first, which develops into an obsession. Then there's the Green Goblin, who is actually Peter's old friend Norman Oscorp (Dane DeHaan). Lastly, there's Rhino (Paul Giamatti), a Russian mobster who has the ability to destroy things. We're feeling a little scared for this superhero, but he's Spider-Man after all. No need to worry.
- SPOILER ALERT! (Don't say we didn't warn you.)
In case you haven't read the spoilers from the Interwebs yet, uhm, how do we put this, Gwen Stacy dies in the comics. Peter Parker accidentally kills her while fighting the Green Goblin. No word on whether they decided to change this tragic ending for the movie or not, but we're bracing ourselves for it anyway.
