do your parents compare you with anyone else?

well my parent does and thats the thing i hate the most about them...buti sana kung lalo naap-uplift ung spirit ko but its the other way around lalo na ung dad ko...they'd compare me to a scholar, talented or a hardworking child...alam niyo un i think they can say it in a better way lalo tuloy ako nawawalan ng self-confidence feeling ko kc ang tanga ko eh or i can't do anything they can be proud of about me!!! xenxa na d2 ko nilalabas galit ko nde ko kc masabi sa kanila eh...minsan kc feeling ko gsto ko clang sbihan na " E kung kayo kaya i-compare ko?" so wat about you guys and wat do you do?

b4 cnasbe nla sken un mga gnyang bagay . . . lyk ung "bute pa ung gn2 . . . gan2 gnyan"

but now di n nla gnagwa sken yan khet na feel nlang gwen . . .

I din't hate my rents nman coz of dat . . .

coz I understnd dat in odurr way . . .

dey juss want me 2 improve myself . . .

to be a better person . . .

but if I already did my best n` dey still not satisfied den I won't mind dem anymore . . .

dey can say watver dey wanted 2 say but I'm gonna do wtver I wanna do . . .

In dat way no pressure . . . n` I guess u will be satisfied wit urself . . .

Heck yes!

I get sooo pissed off, irritated and upset when they do that! I hate hearing the lines like "why can't you be your tita's daughter? she's smart, etc..", "why don't you do like what --- does so you'll get higher grades, etc.."

Gawd, please, stop it.

Sorry, but I do expereince this - though not as often as before. I study hard and among us 3, I can say that I'm the achiever. Why can't they understand that I'm not my tita's daughter nor I am her? She's totally different from me. She drowns herself in studying unlike me.

When they do that, I just keep quiet though I do want to answer back. I still have some respect for them.
