first time to actually ask a question like this but yolo.
im 16 and im just wondering, is it really necessary to shave or trim "down" there? Just asking out of curiousity lol. And also, say for example im 20 years old and have never cut trim or shave my pubes. Does that make me weird or something like that?

^hi snowylefae. don't worry about your questions. I'm 25 years old now, a wife, and a mom. Those were my questions when I was your age.

It does not make you weird. It does not even make you unhygienic. There are really people who opt to have them removed, some opt not to.

But for me, it would be more hygienic to have them removed. It feels better, you'll feel cleaner but you have to take note that it of course grows back and that's the feeling I really don't want.

If you opt to remove them, you should decide whether you'll have them shaved, waxed or other ways of removing them.

I trim. i shaved once pero it's itchy when it grows back so trim lang. and am i weird when I say na i pluck small hairs pa? hehehe. minsan masakit pero minsan sanayan lang

I trim and for the record.. I tried waxing mine. SUPER WRONG MOVE. Sobrang sakit. Di kasi ako comfortable na pumunta na lang sa waxing salon and let them do my thing.  Makinis naman after, pero medyo nagka pinpoint bleeding habang winawax ko kasi di naman ako professional. Na-irita lang ako kaya natripan kong tanggalin.

Nope, I have it waxed professionally at Lay Bare. The first time I tried it, it didn't bleed.

okay ba sa lay bare ang waxing down there? tried them pero sa underarm. hindi ba siya nangingitim few weeks after waxing? yung UA ko kasi after i-wax parang nangitim. how aboit down there?

Yes, they're my go-to waxing salon. There are many factors to consider when your skin darkens after waxing. Binasa mo ba within 4hrs, etc. And no, di naman siya nakaka-darken.

I go to laybare too. Every month waxing for UA. Ok naman sya. Hindi nangitim. Naging manipis ung hair. I used to shave kasi. I tried bikini waxing too. Kung ayaw nyo ng brazilian, try this. They wax ung bikini part then trim the rest.

I wax mine. ako lang nagwawax.. sobrang sanay na ako sa sakit. haha! xD Kung mag d-DIY kayo wag yung maramihang buhok pakonti konti lang kasi sobrang sakit pag sabay sabay! XD tsaka trim nyo muna ng konti bago mag wax.

Tama! After kong mag wax feeling ko sobrang linis ng katawan ko.. X)) sobrang smooth pa. Pero di maiiwasan na mag karoon ng ingrown. yun din yung isa sa nakakainis.. Nagkaka sugat sugat minsan.. -___-
