No offense to this forum but honestly, I dont like the way this forum works. I do understand the rules and regulations and I do agree to these rules but I don't agree to the idea that moderators get to decide and implement actions reagarding gray areas of rules and regulations in posting or creating threads. (By gray areas, an example is, one comment may be fine with one forumer but offensive to the reader or vice versa). I do appreaciate the moderators effort to maintain this site but I think they lack proper judgement and are opinionated. Some of them are pretty young and most of them participate in thread discussion which I think is inappropriate because by participating in the forum reveals their interests and dislikes such that some forumers tend to think that they are being biased in making decisions if the decision relates to their preferences. Also, by any chance, they may be professional most of the time but they can unconciously be unfair to some forumers or may favor another, as the case may be, if they have already formed friendship or any kind of relationship with some forumers. So what I suggest is for the moderator to be moderator, not a forumer and to refrain from participating in the discussion the thread. Just to add, moderators should issue warnings or message not on the forum or thread itself, I suggest they send a personal message to the offender instead. Putting you feet on the forumer's shoes, you will get inflamed if you get a warning posted on your thread. It's like having your "masterpiece" labelled "ugly" even if its true that it ugly (it's like getting a boo in public if you know what I mean). It may be their fault but the purpose of this warning is to make things right and unfortunately this process will most likely give you a boo rather than than correct the problem. If I'm not mistaken, most of your forumers are teenagers so they are even more sensitive when it comes to their feelings. And to moderators (and I might as well include forumers), please don't make hasty conclusions towards posts, threads or forumers (like what they feel towards this or that or who they "think" did this or that) without enough basis and evidence. If you can't avoid this one, at least keep your conclusions to yourselves and don't post it on the thread where everyone, including the one concerned, can read. Especially when your a mod, don't take sides, or at least, appear to be not taking sides (either with a moderator or a forumer). Be councilors not lawyers.
Oh well, this is a long one, but that's basically my point. If I get a boo regarding this one, then I guess I'm pretty right about my opinion.
