I'm a college student taking up Journalism at the University of the Philippines Baguio. I'm 20 and sure have gone through a lot of bad good romance. Just like what Marla said in her article, i cannot fully say whether girls are better off without boys or not. For me, these things happen for a reason. Even if that mere reason is for us to be happy even just for a short period of time, i was happy during the relationship, wasn't i? Whenever i encounter relationships-that-didn't-or-wouldn't-work-no-matter-how-hard-we-tried, i just take it as a challenge to better myself and contemplate about the things that i could do to make the next relationship better than the former one. This, of course, is not very easy to do; but that doesn't mean that it's not possible. I've gone through it and i came out better, i can say. I always think of "failed" romantic relationships as perfect foundation for friendship. My bottomline is, maybe sometimes we don't have to have everything in place or in labels, maybe sometimes we just have to accept things as they are. People as they would. If they be good for relationships, or better off for deep friendships. :)

we can never avoid to be with boys.. piece of advice.. you dont need to be in a relationship all the time. the important point is to be ready for future relationships, never sell your self short and trust your instincts. if you feel that you're not ready for a relationship yet then just don't go with it. find magic. and plus boys aren't the only people alive.. you have your friends.. get a life... find your inner happiness... in that way you'll see a better side of yourself

I think not. Being in a happy relationship is by finding the right male. But how will we find the right one if we don't go through the wrong ones.

yes I think woman can be better off without man, but not for all times. its that you should know how to wait for the perfect time and right mate for you, than putting yourself in a commitment tapos di rin pala magwowork out. db? ive been single for seven years and ive been encounter a lot of my friends problem about love and I am so aware how to handle that. darating ka din kasi sa point na mafefeel mo na ito na yun sya na yun! may magic ba? but first learn how to love yourself, before others. and find happiness within you.  :)

There are always up and down in relationships, sometimes you think it's the worst one or the best one. But you will never know.  ;D  If you find the "RIGHT" or maybe a "GOOD" guy, things might go well with you. :D
Right now, i have boyfriend, were together since 2009 and he is my first love.  ;D
Im very happy kasi i know na he loves me so much and never wanna lose me.
I just wanna share my happiness for being with him ever since.
He is a brother, a best friend, a shopping buddy, a kuya, and especially a boyfriend.
We all have a person meant for us , we just have to WAIT. :)

i think, YES. Girls are pretty strong enough to stand alone but admit it, GIRLS ARE MUCH HAPPIER when someone special is around. Relationships has ups and downs, it depends on the couple on how they manage :)  ;)

What We Tried For The First Time: Gel Polish Nails

by: erin, 2013-06-19

I love getting pampered and dolled up just as much as the next girl but as of late, I haven't had much time to do so. I think the last time I really got to relax and get my nails...
