I'm so confused  di ko na alam kung anong kukunin kong course  ang dami kong options pero sa sobrang dami di ko na alam kung anong  kukunin ko T_T I want to take up accountancy pero nakakakot ako ksi baka di ako mag excel dun  arki nmn di ako marunong mag drawing  foreign service ayaw naman ng nanay ko dun sa school na pag aaralan ko. HAY! I don't know what to do. HELP ME GIRLS. GIVE ME SOME ADVICE PLS?

I think, they teach you drawing in Architecture. About excelling in accountancy, its school. Zuckerberg dropped out of college. School does not define who you are going to be. You define your future.

Do this. Imagine yourself 5 years from now. Imagine yourself in both jobs. Which picture looks better to you?


Another thing, choose whichever course you want to take not because of possible job opportunities, not because of popularity, not because of what your parents like. Choose the course that you want to study. 4 years is a long time. If you don't like your course, you're going to have a bad time.

what subjects do you excel in? what are you most interested to learn about? what do you see yourself doing for a long time? hobbies? talents? what clubs were you part of in high school?

i don't know if your high school does those career tests, but ask your school's guidance councilor for help on this one too.

i wouldn't discount other people's opinions too, btw. i knew what i was going to do and be because other people kept telling me what i was going to be good at.

and honestly, on the first year of college, you're not going to be learning about these courses just yet, so calm down. you've a bit more time to think about what you really want and shift.

Close your eyes and envision yourself 5 years from now. Don't be discourage just because your mom doesn't want you to enter in CSB. I know what you mean. Do what makes you happy. Don't please your parents in college dahil that'll be your career path soon. Gusto mo ba na mag-archi ka kasi gusto nila kahit di mo gusto by your heart?

If you worry not excelling in accountancy, dude that'll be a stup*d idea. Kasi you pick course because you wanted to learn something new, something you love, something you know you can finish. Don't be discouraged just because you might fail math subjects. If you really like a particular course, you will excel. Kasi whatever you choose, if you really love what you do-YOU'LL EXCEL NO MATTER WHAT. Remember that. Knowledge can be stopped but PASSION IS ALWAYS THERE.

Recommendation? Well, taking Consular and diplomatic affairs in CSB could be a good choice. You'll be expose to what's happening in and outside the country. If you wanted to learn new language, this is the course you can take. CSB is not bagsakan ng nasipa sa DLSU, so don't hesitate to explore. Wala na yung notion na yun cause CSB is making its repackage through its own programs. If you wanted to take a unique course, CSB has a wide breadth of programs you can choose.
