How did you deal with it?
What did you do to cope with the situation?

I'll share first.

Late part of year 2010, I was rumored to be the slut of the batch. I really can't blame them if they misunderstood my actions and if they concluded without asking me personally about the issues. Well, technically, I CAN blame them. But I didn't. Why? Because those people who spread the rumor were my friends and still are.
So how did I deal with it? I did nothing. I just kept a low profile because I knew that it shall pass. And it did, the rumor died down eventually. I did not feel the need to explain myself since my other set of friends and I know what's the truth. I felt like I don't need to prove myself since I know I can't please everyone.

Rumor: Kinse - losing virginity to a random stranger at the age of 15.
Deal: Kept silence. I didn't go for revenge. Not that its true, but I think that's what educated girls do. They shut their mouth and leave the conclusion to the people. I don't want to stoop my level down to my (ex) best friends who loves to gossip everyone.

i was in college when a close guy friend told me that he heard a bunch of guys saying i was "wild" and that i was a slut and a tease. i believe it was my then best friend who started it.

i just laughed it off and ignored it. i can't go around telling everyone -- hey, it's not true! i'm not a slut! so i just went on to become the smartest "slut" they knew of and could never get.
