« on: February 03, 2012, 10:39:42 PM »
I'm on my second pregnancy and I'm still just 20. I need help in choosing what's the best contraceptive to try after giving birth. Please share the kind of contraceptive, brand, price, and experiences. THANK YOU!  :)

Hi Sis, are you breastfeeding mom ba? If yes, kindly ask your OB about Daphne, progestin only pill sya so safe for the mom and baby. Php 126.50 ang SRP nya. Also, are you taking pills just for contraceptives, if you want an affordable yet effective pill, try mo Trust pill, Php42 lang sya. Better yet consult your OB para macheck ka and malaman if what bagay na pill sayo.

I would advice the same to consult your OB. Medicine might work for others but it doesnt work for everyone.

Hi sis! mag breastfeed ka sa baby mo after giving birth. up to 6 months yun ;)
O kaya naman condom, maraming brands ang available and over the counter naman.
kung makakalimutin ka, i suggest na wag kang mag pills. kasi yung pills kelangan i-take mo same time everyday.
meron din naman depo-provera, injection ito. good for 3 months ;) ang alam ko available ito sa mga health centers.

PERO, the best pa din na magpunta sa doctor para magpaconsult ;) sana nakatulong!
