Your Very First Cellphone
« on: September 10, 2011, 05:24:46 pm »
Was going through different models, looking for a good new one, when I thought about my first cellphone. It's the Philips Fizz: http://www.gsmarena.com/philips_fizz-143.php It's my very first cellphone way back 1998-1999. At that time most people have the Nokia 5110. Of course, way back then there weren't many cellphone users and when you mean cellphone load, it's practically forever (text all you want; load then was only for calls since text back then was free).

I think my first phone was a Nokia 5110 too. When that got broken, I switched to a Sony Ericsson phone (forgot the model number, but it had the nice colored LCD screen)

haha! 3210 when i was in grade 5! paradoxically, the happiness i experienced upon beholding a 3210 was greater than my beholding an iphone 4s...ewan ko, siguro iba lang talaga impact ng new technology sa bata, or siguro everything becomes a big deal kung wala masyadong experience sa mundo... i dunno..when i got my new fone 2 days ago parang, alam mo un, i opened my mail box, opened the box, called at&t and talked to a filipina customer service rep and then tapos na. (mas na-excite pa nga ako na kausapin ung pinay kesa sa fone siguro mga 1 hour kami nag usap  ;D sabi ko kunwari may problema ako pra mas matagal kaming mag usap hahah )

pero nung 3210, namamawis pa kamay ko nun, tapos nililinis ko pa ung screen araw araw, tapos lahat ng tao nag reremark kung gaano kaganda i even remember nagka lagnat ako days before going to GREEN HILLS VIRAMALL to buy the fone  ;D.. but now my experience was like..'aright moving on'...

I just got my first phone when I was about to finish High School Freshman year... Hahaha! Haven't changed it up to now [Senior]. It's Nokia 7210 Supernova... Half of the money in buying that phone was from me. and the other half was from my dad. Haha! Right now, currently saving up for a new phone. A Samsung one, hopefully. :))
