CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
Xena Chielsy Rolez Buenavista is my full name. I’m blowing candles every 4th of April and I’ve been existing for eighteen years since 1994. My relatives call me CHICHAY and I don’t know how my enemies name me. I’m taking up my junior year in BS in Accountancy in UNKNOWN UNIVERSITY. I’m a dean’s lister, a scholar, president of the highest organization, a cheerleader, a musician and an athlete in our school. SEE? Now you know why I’m popular. Everyone wants to be my friend, but sadly, all of them were just for temporary, meaning, they’re just USER- FRIENDLY. But wait, I’m also a !@#$% and a flirt. YEAH! I admit it, but not all the times, it actually depends on the situation. Honestly, I’ve got lot of ex- boyfriends. None of them takes me seriously and they look at me as if I’m a trophy girlfriend. All my relationships ended up for one same reason: they all want me in BED. I’m a conservative type of girl but it’s true that I’m also sophisticated. ENOUGH ABOUT ME, k? Masyado na kasing nakakaboring kung palaging tungkol na lang sa buhay ko, mahaba pa naman ‘yung story para sa’kin, let’s know about my family. Well, I could say I have the best FAMILY ever. Charlotte R. Buenavista ang pangalan ng mother ko. She’s really one of a kind. Alam niya kung kailan niya kailangang maging maghigpit at kailan naman dapat magluwag para sa isang anak. She’s a businesswoman, pero, kahit kailan, hindi siya nawawalan ng quality time for us. How about my father? Well, he’s already in heaven for about five years. He died when I was 12 years old because of heart attack (F*CK that disease.). He’s a father material. I promise, he’s the coolest father I’ve ever met kaso, sayang nga lang at maaga siyang nawala. Lastly, ang pinaka-THE BEST man bukod sa Daddy ko ay ang aking Kuya Charles Xander R. Buenavista. Siya yung kuya na hindi lang basta kuya (?), siya ung tipo na kalaro mo, bestfriend mo, katulong mo, I mean, ALL AROUND TYPE OF GUY! He’s just 20 years old at pareho kami ng kapalaran nito pagdating sa pag- ibig. Nakakapagtaka nga lang kasi my KUYA was the best in everything like me, pero, yun nga, laging sawing- palad katulad ko. Kung hahayaan nga lang ako ni destiny na baguhin ung kapalaran namin, OH MY! Baka piliin kong kami na lang ng Kuya ko ang magkatuluyan kasi di rin naman masama, HE’S REALLY HOT naman kasi talaga. Lagi nga kaming napagkakamalan na magbf/gf kasi, well, nasa lahi na namin ang magaganda at gwapo at bukod dun, kaunti lang naman ang age gap namin. Enough about them, so let’s move on forward.
FRIENDS? Wala ako nun! I’m a loner in school. Sabi ko nga kanina, I only have temporary friends. Automatic na ‘yun, na kapag may makikipagkaibigan sakin, may gusto lang sila sa’king ipahiwatig. Pero, noong unang panahon sa buhay ko, nakilala ko ang aking other half, si Althea Charisse M. Bueno. She’s my bestfriend at parang siya na ‘yung adopted daughter ng nanay ko. She’s my other half; she really knows all about me even though I’m not speaking or what. But sadly, she migrated when we’re fifteen years old kaya naman ang dull ng buhay ko mula nung nagcollege na ako.
