It all started with something my friend Celine said.
“The 'mischievous doll' is up for auction.”“Again?” Fiona asked.
“Mischievous doll?” I asked. Clueless on what they are talking about.
“Yup the one they say was possessed by a vampire spirit. They say it attacks people and sucks their blood. That's why it was being sold over and over again.” Celine explained. She really knows a lot of things about this doll though that's not something to be surprised as she is a doll collector herself.
“It keeps it place in the auction so we can assume there's some creepy curse on that doll.” Fiona answered. Well she's an internet geek. No latest trend, blogs, tech stuff that she doesn't know. She's like the walking Google. She's better than Twitter and Tumblr when it comes to the internet trend.
“Yeah that's what all my friends in the doll community are saying.” Celine replied.
Interesting isn't it?
Curiously I asked them.
“I'd like to see what it looks like.”I am a college student but hey I am a child at heart. Though I don't have dolls anymore I do have some stuff toys at home. Maybe if it's pretty I'll buy it. Tee Hee!
But honestly.... I was drowning to the creepy story surrounding the doll. Not that I believe in supernatural. I'm just addicted in solving mysteries. What really caught my attention is the idea of solving the mystery of that doll. To prove the rumors to be false.
Logically speaking supernatural phenomena is taboo for someone like me who believe that everything has a scientific basis / explanation. Yeah if Celine is an obsessed doll collector and literature lover; and Fiona is the internet geek; I, Ashikin is a fanatic of mystery, science and psychology.
So...
“It's not that costly you know. Here... this is it.” I focus my full attention to the picture on the screen.
