”As all of you know, today is suppose to be casting day. But I decided to skip the formalities and go straight to rehersals.” Nakatayo ako ngayon dito sa stage ng theater ng school. Lahat ng classmates ko nakaupo sa mga upuan sa harap ko.
”Wait, we haven’t cast the characters, who’s playing who?” Now it’s explaining time.
”We’ve been together for almost 4 years now. We’ve been doing plays since freshmen year, and I know that all of us know who are the actors and actresses in our class. Beside’s there are only three roles to be played. Galatea, Pygmalion and Aphrodite.””Who’s playing them?” I smiled.
”Great question. Ice your playing as Pygmalion, Liara your playing as Galatea, and Anne, your playing as Aphrodite.” ”Why me?””And why not? Your perfect for the role. Besides, we need to make this play the best we ever staged in this school. Remember, this would be our last. We need to make it perfect up to the last detail.””But..” Ito yung mga panahaong pinapairal ko pagiging maldita ko eh.
”Does anyone oppose of my decision of giving the lead roles to them?” I saw Ice and Liara raise there hands.
”Aside for those two.” And no one else raised there hands.
”Then it’s settled. Ice and Liara will play the lead roles.”After Rehearsals..Nakakapagod talaga mag direct, buti na lang reliable mga kasama ko. Nagulat ako biglang nag vibrate phone ko.

Ito ang nakakabawi ng pagod, a date with my fiancée is just what I need right now.
”OK guys. I guess that’s enough for today. Thanks everyone. Let’s call it tha day.” And everyone started to leave the theater. I quickly fix my things and said goodbye.
”Liara, Ice, una na ako ha? Memeet ko si Caspian eh. Ingat kayo sa paguwi.” I didn’t wait for there reply, I was excited to see Caspian. I don’t get much time to spend with him, being busy in studies and all.
Liara’s POV ”She’s in a hurry.” ”She did mention that she was going to meet Caspian, right?””Figures.” Nagstart kaming maglakad palabas ng theater.
”Sometimes, I really find Winter’s situation, weird but I consider her very lucky.” ”Lucky? Why?” ”Well, for one thing, Caspian is really hot, not to mention rich. And Winter had already found the man she’s going to spend the rest of her life with. She doesn’t need to date anyone else, lastly, she’s head over heels inlove with Caspian.””True, but haven’t you thought that it’s better to experience things? I mean, for girls isn’t it important for you to find the one? The perfect guy for you? Sure, she and Caspian are engaged, but they don’t spend much time together. Don’t do stuff like normal couples do. It’s like their whole relationship is formed because of that engagement since we we’re kids.” ”You have a point, but you forgot the most important part. Winter loves Caspian. Sure they don’t go out, they don’t do stuff normal couples do, but Winter’s happy being with Caspian despite of their weird engagement.” ”Aha. But didn’t it occur to you that maybe Winter isn’t really happy? That she isn’t really inlove with Caspian? Na baka nasa isip niya lang lahat? She was after all, raised to be the perfect wife for Caspian?” ”Geez! I’ll never win. You are the king of debates.” He ruffled my hair.
”Nah! That was just an opinion. It’s Winter’s life after all. C’mon, I’ll treat you somewhere.” Winter’s POV Nakarating na ako dito sa park, nakita ko agad si Caspian. Paanong hindi ko siya makikita? Eh likod pa lang niya kabisado ko na. Nakaupo siya sa isang bench, malapit sa playground ng mga bata. Napansin kong parang pinapanood niya yung dalawang batang naglalaro sa lake, isang babae at isang lalaki.
”Kanina ka pa ba?” Sabi ko habang umuupo ako sa tabi niya.
”Don’t worry, I wasn’t bored. I was actually amused by the kids by the lake.” Sabi na parang inoobserbahan niya yung dalawang bata.
”Bakit? Ano bang meron sa dalawang bata.” ”Try listening to therir conversation.” Dahil masunuring bata ako, ginawa ko naman.
”Ang ganda mo na sana eh, kaso may kulang.” Batang lalaki.
”Ano naman yun?”
”Mas gaganda ka kung ako papakasalan mo.” Nagulat ako, maharot na bata.
”Bata pa kasi tayo eh. Hindi pa tayo pwede magpakasal.”
”BAsta gusto ko paglaki natin, ikaw papakasalan ko.”
”Hindi kasi pwede na gusto mo lang, dapat ligawan mo muna ako, tapos magiging girlfriend mo ko, tapos tsaka mo ako papakasalan.”
”Ang daming proseso. Hindi ba pwedeng kasal na lang?”
”Basta, ganun yun.”
”Wag ka magpapaligaw sa iba ah? Papakasalan pa kita eh.”
I found myself smiling.
”They’ve been talking about the same thing five minutes ago. They actually remind me of us. Of our engament.” Napatingin ako kay Caspian.
”The little girl did have a point. You deserve to be courted Winter. You deserve everything special a girl could possibly receive. I’ve been selfish, would you give me the honors of courting you? Let’s start over. Forget the engagement, go through the normal process, and let’s make beautiful memories together.” I was touch, I held his hand and smiled.
”I deserve the best, that’s why I’m with you. Courtship isn’t really important to me. What’s important is what we both feel, so Caspian, could you honestly say to me that you really love me?” to be continued…
