Hello!   Well, I'm from the College of Arts and Sciences (way far from Tourism), but as far as I know, LPU is best known for the Tourism and HRM courses. So, I guess the course's good.

Uhm, based on my experience, it's not that hard to transfer to LPU. I'm a transferrie as well (from Cavite State University). And yes, you have to undergo normal process such as taking entrance exam, getting your medical/dental exam, filing necessary documents, etc etc.

As long as your score at the entrance exam and your grades from previous school are a-okay, it will not matter if you came from STI or other schools.   As long as you're qualified, you'll get in LPU.

hello. i just signed up. gusto ko sana magtransfer dito, business administration kasi yung course ko before pero gusto ko magshift ng journalism. actually 3 years na ko nagstudy ng BA pero journalism kasi talaga gusto ko. sana macredit yung mga minor subjects. magkano po nagre-range yung tuition fee ng journalism dito? thanks po sa mga sasagot.

Hi, lucky you, I'm a Journ student.

Anyway,  it really depends on the number of units per semester. But let's just say it ranges from P36,000 - 30,000 per semester. Estimated na yan ha, I don't have my forms with me e.  Right now I have 18 units and I paid P31,000+ for this sem. Basta mga ganun.

About your subjects, well I wish you good luck, kasi Business Ad and Journ is kinda worlds apart, if you know what I mean. (Kinda lang, kasi in LPU, we have Business and Economic Writing subject)  I'm also a transferrie, but my previous course was BA Mass Communication, so it was easy for me to shift kasi ang daming subjects na na-credit sakin. Ayun.

Why don't you drop by at LPU (main campus ka ba lilipat?) and see for yourself? Have your previous records evaluated and see if ma-credit nila yung ibang subjects.

Actually, AB Journalism is considered as a different course from AB Mass Communication in LPU Manila. It is not under MassComm.  

BTW, MassComm has 3 majors: Advertising, Public Relations and Broadcasting.

Communication Arts? I'm not familiar with that, but nope, walang ganun dun. Ang meron lang sa CAS (College of Arts and Sciences) ay ito:

AB Multimedia Arts
AB Psychology
AB Legal Studies
...and yung Journ at MassComm.
