I don't like Piper, only because throughout the whole book she seemed so desperate for Jason. Annabeth is way better than her.

Same here. And the fact that she's Aphrodite's daughter doesn't help because Aphrodite is my least favorite goddess next to Hera. And that last part with her taking over Drew as head of the cabin was just kinda corny tbh.  ;D
Destiny is for losers. It's just a lame excuse for letting things happen to you instead of making them happen.

Me too, I can't wait for the next book.
I'm missing Percy already :D
I'd surely love the Son of Neptune.

I heart this book!! I bought this one, and I cannot wait for the next one in the series to come out. I miss Percy, and go crazy just thinking what might happen, but it is most definitely a must buy.
I swear sometimes I think I'm a part cat.

YAPYAP. I read it. Ganda.
And to think na magchachange ng parang way si Rick Riordan sa pagsusulat. Naging third person POV. Unlike Percy Jackson. Ayun. Ang astig.
HAHA.
Give me everything tonight. :]

The plot and setting and story were all awesome. Rick Riordan shocked me with everything. Y'know, PJ readers, it's our nature to guess what the prophecy mean. Every single time the oracle utters a prophecy for a quest, we all guess what's going to happen. And I didn't expect that the prophecy meant---that. That Leo and Piper would tag-team and help Hera out. And I really thought Jason's gonna die, because the prophecy said, "death unleash through Hera's rage". Well, I guess not.

And few pages before the end, I've already guessed that there might be something going wrong for Percy. I've collected my own puzzle pieces like "The Roman camp and the Greek camp doesn't know each other.", "Jason's memory was taken before he was taken to the Greek camp.", "Hera said "an exchange of leaders"." ...then bingo! I got it. Then on the last page... my hunch was right. Best moment of my "reading Rick Riordan works" life. LOL.

Overall, this book is great. :) I can't wait for the sequel. It's Percy's time again to SHINE. :)

I really want Son of Neptune to come out so I can read it and I can hear Percy's side of the story. (My LH book's with my classmate.)

This book is so cool! I'm a fan of Percy Jackson & the Olympians series read it for the nth times). But I still prefer Percy over Jason.. don't know why..
Have you read Son of Neptune? I'm telling you guys, its worth the wait.. Percy is just really really cool!!! I can't get enough of it. I reread it right after finishing the book. Then I went back to reading Lightning Thief again hehe (adik lang)
The 3rd book is scheduled the next fall again, this time it will be about Annabeth coz the title is "The Mark of Athena".

Percy>Jason.  You do not know how much I have craved for Percy's presence when I read this book.
