The original acoustic cover was done by Obadiah Parker ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-8nkkOA_AM )... whose voice I happen to like more than the guy who did this cover. Either way, I think you appreciate the lyrics of this song better as an acoustic song.

When Ben Harper does a cover of it, ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teWzsxITB1s ) it's infinitely sexier. He plays it a lot in his different concerts and I have a recorded copy of it with less clapping and interruptions than in the video on youtube. It's amazing.

I also love Smells Like Teen Spirit (originally by Nirvana) as covered by Tori Amos ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaUL_7H7r40 ). She gave it a whole different feel which, as much as I like the original, is pretty awesome.
