TAKING OVER DESTINY'S JOB

*reading a very thick novel*

Why do authors have to make a lot of twists?

Why does someone have to get hurt?

Why can't they just let the characters have happy endings?

Why do bad things have to happen?

Even in real life...why can't destiny give people a break and let them have their happy ending?

If I were destiny, I would have done a better job. I would make lots of happy couples.

So, you think you can do better than me?

I don't think, I know.

Well, why don't you take over my job for a couple of days and see if you can handle it.

Oh, I can handle it.

Okay then. My job is now yours. Don't hesitate to call me when you think you've had enough.

I don't think I would be calling you anytime soon.
