I didn't buy this book because of Ale Pettyfer. Nor did I buy this book because I knew it was going to be movie and I want to be ahead of everybody. No.

I picked up this book at Powerbooks bookstore. Beastly by Alex Flinn, in movie cover. *but I didn't know that it was a movie cover.* The saleslady said it's good read so I bought it. And I finished it. Days later I found out on the internet that Beastly was an upcoming movie and I was like, "WHHHAAT?". Then yeah, practically, by that time, I was ahead of everyone who haven't read the FANTASTIC book yet, but I had no idea that I am. LMAO.

I love Beastly so much. But I think A Kiss In Time is better.

Yes, beastly sure is a good book to read. I bought it after buying A Kiss In Time where there was a teaser at the back. I even got so excited when I heard there is a movie. When I finally saw the movie though, I was a bit dissapointed. Like most books turned into movies, they cut some scenes.  :-\  But it was okay though. I still think the book is better.  ;)

Trueeee! A Kiss In Time is a really sweet book. The fact that Jack was such a gentleman deep within and that he actually liked landscaping.  ;D Talia was also such a sweet heart.

Everything will be OK in the end. If it's not OK...then it's not yet the end.

1.  it started a bit slow
2. Kyle had more personality when he wasn't a Beast. He turned into an Edward-clone the moment he met Lindy...
3. Kyle's dialogue was a bit gross when he turned Beastly.
4. I got the feeling that he fell in love with Lindy because he needed someone to fall in love with him.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't the best. I gave it 3 stars in goodreads. :P

Well I can't argue with that. :) I'm not saying it was some kind of a literary masterpiece. It's very light. And I agree with the Edward part. I hate how unrealistic romance novels get and sensitive, gardener types just aren't my type.

I think Kyle and Lindy's relationship in the movie had more foundation. :) They met prior to him turning into a beast, and kind of liked each other. But I'm not reading any other Alex Flinn books unless Alex Pettyfer is planning on starring in more of them.
